Fontaines D.C. announce new Italy and Germany shows for 2027 tour

Fontaines D.C. have announced new shows in Italy and Germany as part of their 2027 tour. Find all the details below.

The Irish band were already set to play some massive gigs in the UK and Ireland next summer , including two nights at Slane Castle and a double-header at Manchester’s Heaton Park .

This summer outdoor run will follow their 2026 UK and European arena tour this autumn , in support of the group’s fifth album ‘Dopamine Chamber’ , released on October 16 via XL Recordings.

Now, Grian Chatten and co. have confirmed an extra five dates in Europe for summer 2027. These are scheduled to kick off with a bill-topping slot at Rock In Roma in Rome on June 18, before Fontaines headline I-Days in Milan the following day (June 19).

From there, the band will take to the stage at the Sparda-Bank Arena in Hamburg on August 11 ahead of stops at the Olympiahalle in Munich (August 17) and the Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin (August 18).

Fontaines D.C. have already previewed the forthcoming ‘Dopamine Chamber’ with its atmospheric lead single, ‘Marianne’ . They’ve also been playing an unreleased track, ‘Six Shot Morning’ , at recent gigs. The group gave another song, ‘Happy For You’ , its live debut during their headline slot at Leeds Festival 2026 last month.

NME gave their performance at Reading a glowing four-and-a-half-star review , hailing the show as “a deserved coronation from the band of our time”. The set made it into our round-up of the most magical moments from R&L ’26 , too.

Next year’s Slane Castle dates will see Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams appear as a special guest, among other acts. Little Simz and Viagra Boys are lined up as support in the UK.

Other dates include Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields, Newcastle‘s St James’ Park, Glasgow Green, and London Stadium.

There is currently a gap in Fontaines D.C.’s schedule on the Friday night of Glastonbury 2027 (June 25), before their two nights at Slane Castle.

‘Dopamine Chamber’, produced by James Ford , follows 2024’s acclaimed and Mercury -nominated ‘Romance’ , as well as the band’s recent contributions to the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man soundtrack and the ‘Help(2)’ charity album for War Child .

In other news, frontman Grian Chatten has revealed why he wore the shirt of Cwmbran Celtic FC during the band’s headline set at Reading Festival 2026 .
