The world’s biggest football tournament may be over , but a new season is here with a new soundtrack to match. Electronic Arts has shared the official soundtrack for EA SPORTS FC 27, featuring 120 tracks from 36 nations. The playlist is available to stream on Spotify starting today, ahead of early game access on September 18 and the global launch on September 25.
This year’s soundtrack brings together established favorites and emerging artists from around the world, including Interpol , The Strokes , Barry Can’t Swim , Sayf , and Rose Gray . It also features new music from Cage The Elephant , Mura Masa , and more.
“I’ve been playing EA SPORTS’ football games since I was a kid,” said Kyan , whose song “ Garage ” with Enzo from the Block and Mu540 appears on the new soundtrack. “I remember the songs, the menus, spending hours playing… so I always had this dream of one day turning on the game and hearing my own song. It’s crazy that it’s happened now.”
That connection to the game extends to his collaborators, too. “Our friendship started through the game. We didn’t even speak the same language, but we could spend hours playing and understanding each other. I feel like 10-year-old Kyan would go crazy if he knew that one day this was going to happen.”
Music is also playing a bigger role in the game itself. In FC 27, players will be able to explore The Grounds, a new social space with three districts inspired by English, French, and Argentinian football heritage, each with its own curated soundtrack.
Plus, FC Mobile is celebrating its third anniversary by letting players vote for a favorite track from past EA SPORTS FC soundtracks to be added to the mobile game. They’ll then have the chance to choose a standout track from the new FC 27 lineup, which will also be added to the game.
